My sister and I have submitted some new ministry suggestions.
They are:
- Aestheticism – The reverence of beauty for beauty’s sake.
- Hagridism – The religious philosophy of being like Harry Potter’s character Hagrid.
- Protoism – The worship and respect of Early civilization and life. Especially the Ancient Americas and Mesopotamia as these places have the oldest surviving records of advanced human civilization.
- Rihanism – A ministry based in primality, unity, strength, and Will.
Introductions
- Aestheticism – A ministry highlighting that beauty, the beautification of the world, and enjoying everything for its intrinsic nature is paramount. A ministry where beauty for beauty’s sake is enough.
- Hagridism – A ministry built from the Harry Potter character Hagrid. Hagrid is a friend and shepherd to both people and animals, respects nature, and lives with a full heart. Hagrid teaches us how to live life with respect to our environment, stand up for others when they cannot adequately defend themselves, and to live with pride without being pretentious. Hagridism teaches how to be strong without being evil, and how to live life lightly and with reverence for simple pleasures and joys.
- Protoism – A ministry based in highlighting and preserving the earliest cultures and religions. Especially those of The Americas and Mesopotamia as these regions have the oldest surviving evidences of advanced civilizations. The symbol of this ministry is fire, and holidays and observances often include the use of fire and pottery for religious practice. Protoism shows us how to keep reverence for our ancestors, live within our means as well as to vie for a healthier future, and strives to instill in its constituents a need for reliable and sustainable record keeping of ourselves.
- Rihanism – A ministry about the Romulan (Rihanh/Rihannsu) culture from the Star Trek universe. It is a culture that was born from the same stock as the Vulcan culture, but preserved its strong and primal nature. It teaches unity, the value of strength and power, structure and order, cultivating a strong unwavering will, as well as mental clarity. Rihanism teaches how primality begets manifestation.

How would Hagridism differ from the already added Naturalism? The part about “live life with respect to our environment, stand up for others when they cannot adequately defend themselves, and to live with pride without being pretentious…” is similar to the Naturalism “to align ourselves with [natural orders] in order to live well” and “[placing] an emphasis on admiring nature as a means to reconnect with our natural selves.”
Also, why couldn’t Protoism fall under ISM itself? Since ISM is for religions of all cultures and doesn’t find fault in other religions.
Couldn’t Aestheticism fall under Bodism? Bodism does include “development and modification” of the body.
OK, Rihanism may not be covered by anything else!
