Hello! As a newly ordained Jediist Monk, where do I begin? I feel some study or research is required to grow into my new title. Should I study Taoism? Hinduism? Read lots of Joseph Campbell and practice traditional martial arts? Build a lightsaber? This seems like a pretty deep rabbit hole and I feel a bit overwhelmed!
Also, I think “warrior monk” should be added to list of possible titles for Jediism. Seems more appropriate.
I am in the same boat. Hopefully, together, we can create something worthwhile.
<p style=”text-align: center;”>I just found this website so not really sure how behind I am other than 2 years after your posts. There is a greater Jediist community outside this ordination.</p>
My take on titles for “clergy” here should include emissary, consular, possibly sentinel or guardian. While Monk or even Warrior Monk seem like usable Jediist titles, Warrior Monk may not be a mentionable religion leader title, imo.
As far as what is next, what training have your had to be a Jedi, or minister for that matter? These sites are designed to allow you to officiate over ceremonies such as weddings, legally.
So what’s next should be honing your Jediism practices and establishing yourself to be a minister in some kind of covert. Be a member of the greater Jedi community. Figure out your path so that you could help others along theirs.
